Educated, affluent women, are making a rational decision to enter certain segments of the prostitution market, found a new study by economics researchers at the University of Arkansas.

Researchers also found that most of these women are not becoming street walkers, but entering the escort, Internet driven or brothel side of the world's "oldest profession." They are driven by the same factors that people consider when choosing a career position.
