The Department of Homeland Security is systematically reviewing thousands of pending immigration cases and moving to dismiss those filed against suspected illegal immigrants who have no serious criminal records, reports the Houston Chronicle. Culling the immigration court dockets of noncriminals started in earnest in Houston about a month ago and has stunned local attorneys, who have come to court anticipating clients' deportations only to learn that the government was dismissing their cases.
Richard Rocha, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesman, said the review is part of the agency's broader, nationwide strategy to prioritize the deportations of illegal immigrants who pose a threat to national security and public safety. Critics assailed the plan as a sign the Obama administration is trying to create a kind of backdoor "amnesty" program. Opponents of illegal immigration were critical. "They've made clear that they have no interest in enforcing immigration laws against people who are not convicted criminals," said Mark Krikorian of the Center for Immigration Studies, which advocates for strict controls.

Doesn’t it seem that the states where these cases take place might sue the federal government for not enforcing the law. This seems to need to be done NOW !

And BTW, along with soft or non-enforcement of illegals crawing across the border to haul their 14 year old pregnant wife or girlfriend or granddaughter into a hosptial to win the American lottery comes all sorts of other benefits.
In California now vegetables need not pass through any inspection site for suitability for sale, the Mexicans stand on corners selling them, and oh how quaint can you get when the filthy meat truck flows through the neighborhood selling meat that has never been inspected to neighborhood homes for a discounted price. By the way the filthy truck is not refrigerated so hurry to get your good deal before it rots. And, please don’t ask the tamalie cart that comes through the neighborhood (again unrefrigerated) if they have a health permit, they instantly forget how to speak any language.
Please forget about the right or wrong side of driving a car. I’ve been run off of the street by wide eyed people behind the wheel who don’t have a clue as to what side of the street is appropriate to drive on And please don’t question the construciton site that only has signs posted in Spanish. If you get hurt because you did not adhere to a sign, it’s your own falut for not knowing how to read Spanish.
People who sanction this travisty of abuse of public health laws are obviously relatives of illegals or people who live in gated communities who don’t have to ward off the invasion on a daily basis. Or Democrats who see the only way they will ever stay in power is by importing people they can control.

Vote these traitors out of office. Impeach them. There is nothing in the constitution that says to protect the borders “if you feel like it.”
Mexico doubles its population every 20 years. These people cannot stay out of the bedroom regardless of their inability to support the offspring they bring into the world. This is only enhancing the position of the Catholic Church and the take over of America by Mexico. Do the freaking math for pity sakes.
Enforce our immigration laws. Keep our diversity systematic not problematic.

Don’t worry Mark, that’s just politics. The soft quota of 400,000 deportations annually is not going anywhere. Pretty soon you will have your country back. Hang in there guy.
