Expertise: Rosenfeld was the co-author of a study that analyzed the long-term decline in intimate partner violence in the U.S. It cited shifts in marriage and divorce patterns, the improved economic status of women and increases in the availability of domestic violence services. Rosenfeld’s research subjects also have included the social sources of violent crime, crime statistics, crime control policy and analysis of U.S. crime trends.
