At a House Subcommittee hearing last week, New York City Congressman Charles Rangel gave advocates of marijuana legalization reason for hope: "There's no question that with the limited resources we have...that we ought to decriminalize [marijuana]."

H.R. 1529 will do more good for more people than almost any other bill currently active. Get this one passed, then look at other good initiatives to bring some common sense and decency into our judicial system.
1529 FIRST! If we don’t have this, then most other judicial reform bills are almost worthless.

All well and good but has he given up on his bill H.R. 1529 which is being held up by the Judiciary Committee where several previos versions have been allowed to die. Where are the 17 co-sponsors of last years version of this bill. Speak up, this is one of the most human and humane bills ever introduced and will save the taxpayers millions.
