States are putting a fiscal lens on sentencing and corrections policies which includes an interest in the use of cost-benefit analysis.  This webinar will describe and demonstrate cost-benefit analysis, and discuss the role of evidence-based corrections policy.  Participants will learn about a template being developed to assist staff in calculating costs, benefits and savings.  The 70 minute program will include examples of policy analysis in Washington State and an opportunity for questions and discussion.
